Mr. Neeraj Choksi & Mr. Jignesh Desai (R) are two first generation entrepreneurs who began the journey of 'NJ' in 1994. With a humble beginning from home, the promoters have successfully shaped the group's forays into many diversified businesses.
Both the founders are passionate for extending financial inclusion to the masses and providing them the opportunity to improve their lives through financial well-being. Both are also actively engaged in furthering the cause of the industry, promoting investor interests. They are also passionate on giving back to society through the Group's education and training initiatives.
Mr. Neeraj Choksi
Co-Founder, NJ Group

Mr. Neeraj Choksi is the co-founder and promoter of NJ Group of companies since 1994. He graduated in business management from Sardar Patel University in 1992. He is a Certified Financial Planner from the Financial Planning Standard Board (FPSB India) affiliated with FPSB USA, an Associate of the Insurance Institute of India, and a Certified Trust & Estate Planner (CTEP) from the American Association of Management. In 1994, immediately after graduation he started the journey of NJ.

Mr. Neeraj has a rich and diverse experience of nearly 30 years in the financial services industry and has been instrumental in establishing the diverse businesses of NJ Group. Mr. Neeraj has also been contributing to the cause of the mutual fund distributors on various forums. He served as a member of SEBI's mutual fund advisory committee for seven years (2011-2018) and again in 2021 as the sole voice of the distribution community. He is also a member of the CDSL Business Advisory Committee & BSE Capital Market Committee.

Mr. Neeraj has always believed in contributing back to society and has been actively involved as a trustee of NJ Charitable Trust, working towards the upliftment of underprivileged children by providing quality education and educational resources. An active Rotarian since 1996, Mr. Neeraj is also the recipient of the 'Outstanding Young Business Man of the Year' award for the year 2008 by the Junior Chamber at the Zonal level.

Mr. Jignesh Desai
Co-Founder, NJ Group

Mr. Jignesh Desai is the co-founder and promoter of NJ Group of companies, headquartered in Surat. Mr. Jignesh, a civil engineer by education, started his professional journey with the foundation of NJ in the year 1994. Mr. Jignesh has a rich and diverse experience of nearly 30 years in the financial services industry and has been instrumental in establishing the diverse businesses of NJ Group.

He serves on the Board of Directors of the Financial Intermediaries Association of India (FIAI) and is the former President of the Navsari Management Association (NMA). His leadership has been instrumental in shaping NJ Group's strategic direction and growth, reinforcing its reputation as a business built on trust.

Mr. Jignesh has been actively contributing back to society. He is a proud recipient of the 'Anavil Ratna' by the Bruhad Anavil Samaj, Navsari. Mr. Jignesh also holds various positions in non-profit initiatives. He is a trustee at NJ Charitable Trust, Rotary Eye Hospital in Navsari, Navsari Traffic Education Trust, and Bruhad Anavil Sanskar Trust in Navsari. His efforts in these roles demonstrate his dedication to giving back to the community and supporting various social initiatives.
